Elsevier has announced that access to the Beilstein and Gmelin databases (via the Crossfire interface) will be replaced with Reaxys as of December 2010. To give you a chance to test Reaxys, NCSU has access for a trial period until February 2010. Please
access the Reaxys trial and give us your feedback.
Reaxys is a web-based search and retrieval system for chemical compounds, bibliographic data, chemical patent info and chemical reactions. With Reaxys, you will have access to Beilstein, Gmelin, and Patent Chemistry Database data. In addition, Reaxys contains pharmacological, ecotoxicological, and toxicological data; specific bioassay results; and logPs, toxicity values, and other valuable data.
It is very important to get your feedback on Reaxys before we lose Crossfire access and switch to this new platform. Please let us know your thoughts by responding to the survey on the
trial page.
Thanks!
