Book & Article Delivery

Log on to Tripsaver to request the books and articles you need. The materials need not be in the NCSU Libraries. We will borrow them from other libraries as needed.

Delivery speed depends on where we need to go to fulfill your request. Books that are available in the NCSU Libraries will be checked out to you and sent immediately via first-class mail. Articles will be scanned and posted to the web for you to retrieve.

If we find your request at UNC-Chapel Hill, North Carolina Central, or Duke University, expect 2-4 extra days. If we have to go further afield, we will get materials in approximately 2 weeks. To see if libraries at NCSU, UNC-CH, NCCU, or Duke have the materials you are looking for, check our catalog.

Costs are as follows:

• Articles from sources in the NCSU Libraries will cost $8 per article.
• Articles received from other libraries will be delivered free.
• Books (regardless of source) are delivered for free via first-class mail. You are responsible for the cost of return postage.
