Photocopy Services
All photocopies are made by Special Collections staff. Due to the fragile nature of some of our materials, there may be some restrictions on the copying of fragile or bound items.
Requests for photocopies are processed daily, and orders are ready the same day or the following day depending on the amount of material to be copied.
Please note that Special Collections does not provide photocopies from items which are part of the Faculty Publications collection. Patrons are free to take notes from these materials or to locate the second copy in the general stacks.
Oversized copies for such wide format items as architectural drawings, blueprints and maps are available. Color copies and scans of Special Collections materials are also possible.
Researchers assume all responsibilities for copyright in the duplication of manuscript and archival materials.
To request a photocopy of an item in Special Collections, you will need to fill out, read, and sign a Reproduction Request Form. Please note that unsigned requests cannot be processed.
Photographic Services
The Special Collections Research Center can produce digital or traditional photographs of most items in the Center, depending on the condition of the original. Such requests are processed as quickly as possible; the typical turn-around time for photographic requests is one to two weeks. Larger orders may require longer than this amount of time. Similarly, the condition of the original may affect the pace at which we can produce the reproductions.

Photograph orders are processed on a weekly basis and are ready the following week. Researchers must pay for an archival negative in addition to the cost of a print if a negative does not already exist for the ordered image.
Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted. There is a $5.00 billing fee per order for all orders that are invoiced or mailed or faxed. |
